So we need more staff! The staff is currently 4 people large and we are looking for some of the same and some new positions.

We are hiring full and part time, sub-contracted and employed:

1) Pattern Makers (experience required: relevant college degree or 2 years experience)

2) Studio Assistants (experience required: 1 year of experience, portfolio evaluation; or intern to hire acceptable)

3) Clothing Makers (paid training!) (Prior academic or professional clothing making experience preferred, but not necessary. Candidates with skills in clothing making or latex clothing making may receive priority and higher compensation.)

4) Office/Business Manager (experience required: office assistant or manager for 1 year, or 3+ years in a junior level position in a creative field: gallery, artist studio)

An ideal person will have a background in either fashion, design, craft or art, with some experience working in a multiple person studio environment. Having an interest in and experience costuming for performance art, theatre and film is a plus.

For the office manager, tasks will include inventory, book keeping, client relations, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and basic web platforms preferred. An ideal candidate will be interested in both aspects of the business, the office and the studio and will want to be able to work in both.

All of the positions are PAID, and have room for advancement.

Interviews will take place beginning March 26th 2012 and will close April 5 2012. Applications must be received no later than March 25th.

My entire life I have dreamed of having my work in Interview, ever since I first fell in love with Andy Warhol as a small budding artist at the age of 6.  My love of Andy has led me to live in Pittsburgh, PA where I haunted both his grave and the wonderful Warhol Museum, and now to his other former stomping ground, living in the East Village and working in Chelsea passing by the old Factory every day.
